But forget all that, as fishing is finally confirmed to be in Destiny 2.
“Players who own the Season Pass will have access to weekly Deep Dive missions, a matchmade seasonal activity named Salvage, and an all-new fishing activity,” explains the Season of the Deep press release. . Indeed, it was inevitable. Destiny 2 is a video game, and I love that video games include a fishing minigame.
Bungie didn’t provide details on both the mini-games and their associated rewards, but a Discord leak that predicted the announcement claims that the fish you catch can be kept as pets.
What else do you think we should see in the trailer? Now that the Titans are back, Thrawn has called us to finally meet the Leviathan, who has long been teased as patrolling the seas. New season guns are coming. These all appear to be Taken-themed versions of old-season Drifter weapons. And we also get a glimpse of the new Arc Auto Rifle Exotic. There are also some new exotic armor pieces, including yet another bizarre Warlock helmet.
