Overwatch 2 is gearing up for the start of the Double Match XP Weekend today and the start of the next Halloween Terror event.
Overwatch 2 aims to help players “make up for lost time” after issues with the game’s launch by offering multiple double match XP weekends. The first event kicks off today, October 21st at 11am PDT/7pm BST and runs through October 24th.
Overwatch 2’s First Double Match XP Weekend Starts Today
Blizzard is “hoping for a smooth Overwatch 2 launch,” and outlined how it will compensate for the “bumpy” launch. addition, “We apologize for the issues players were experiencing when the game launched. We plan to run several Double Match XP weekends to make up for lost time.” Starts on the 24th of October. Next time he will start on October 28th and continue until October 31st. Then from November 24th he will run until November 28th.
Looking ahead, play between October 25th and the end of Season 1 to earn the Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary Skin and Health Pack Weapon Charm. Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror event also kicks off on his October 25th.So far, what we’ve seen about this event is Note From Lord Adlersbrunn’s desk, I felt about the “terror” approaching the “anniversary of the mad doctor’s revenge”.
