We finally got our first look at the Percy Jackson series on Disney Plus.The first look at the reboot of sorts debuted during Disney Plus’ presentation at Disney’s D23 2022 expo. A very short teaser trailer opens with Percy’s own voice-over. Adam ProjectWalker Scolbell in , discusses the dangers of being half-blood, the child of a human parent and a Greek god. During his description, we get a brief glimpse of Annabeth Chase (Leah Jeffries) and some of the other participants in the camp, as well as the huts that house each of God’s children.

The Percy Jackson series was announced in May 2020 — and went a long way toward establishing fans around the world who were less than impressed with the 2010 film adaptation and its sequel. The author, his Rick Riordan, was grumpy.over the years he talked about his dislike of movies, especially how the 20th century has aged characters and deviated from the plot. According to his own reports, this time he is deeply involved in every step of the project.
The original series spanned five books and focused on the adventures of demigod Percy Jackson with Annabeth Chase, the determined daughter of Athena, and satyr Grover. In the sequel series, he fused elements of Roman mythology into the world and produced various spin-offs his series focused on Egyptian and Norse mythology.
