We’ve combed through the demos available at Steam Next Fest to find a selection of games that are also coming to Xbox.
Steam Next is back! Not as many as last year, but there are still hundreds of demos to try. We dived into the madness and got lost a few times, but we were able to find a selection of games that are also coming to Xbox, so you can try out these upcoming Xbox games right away!
eternal sky
Forever Skies is an action-survival game where you explore, gather resources, and research on a ship that has returned to a devastated Earth. The Earth, which experienced an “ecological” disaster hundreds of years ago, is now filled with noxious dust and home to strangely evolved creatures. While trying to understand how the Earth came to be this way, you’ll also need to find a cure for your family’s illness in order to survive.
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars
Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an action RPG where the warrior Hilda journeys through the cursed city of Afes to find her father. She soon becomes entangled in investigating the cause of the city’s curse, and her decisions affect its fate.Inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, Asterigos: The Curse of the Stars, Hilda finds herself in various Explore the depths of the city while fighting unique monsters and bosses.
Dredge
Dredge explores an archipelago known as the “Mallows”, sells game to its inhabitants, completes quests, upgrades your boat, explores further beneath the waves, and encounters all sorts of creatures in “Ominous Fishing.” “adventure”. you do. Ship of Fools is a cooperative roguelite game in which you travel through an archipelago to stop the Aquapolypse. Use cannons to battle enemies and creatures beneath the waves, reliably repair your ship, and avoid eternal storms while planning your course through the waves.
Lego: Brick Tales
Let’s take a short break from the world-ending chaos of the above game and take a look at the puzzle and adventure game Lego: Brick Tales. This lowers the stakes a bit — you’re working to save Grandpa’s amusement park instead of the future of the world and humanity. Alien devices help rebuild the park, but they are powered by Happiness Crystals (devices, not parks) that you need to earn by traveling the world and solving people’s problems.
courage and greed
Bravery and Greed Mash combines martial arts, roguelite and dungeon brawler elements and can be played by up to four players. Many modes, including Adventure and Survival, let you play as a Warrior, Rogue, Amazon, or Wizard, each with different moves and skills.
knight witch
The Knight Witch is a Metroidvania adventure game set in the Dungeonidas in the midst of the War Golem invasion. Combine magical abilities with knightly skills and deck-building strategies to face your enemies. Knight witches seem to become more powerful by gaining gratitude and trust.
hello neighbor 2
Then go to Hello Neighbor 2, a spooky stealth game. Here you play as an investigative journalist uncovering the secrets of Raven Brooks. The town’s AI-controlled inhabitants adapt to us trying to sneak up on them and do their best to outsmart us before they know what they’re up to.
Inclinati
Inkulinati is a strategy game about fighting over medieval manuscripts. With Living Ink, you can send strange creatures found in the medieval frontiers to your enemies. You can also smash other units with your fists or create barriers to block them. You can even blow up your own army if you feel like it. why would you do that? who can say
cassette beast
Cassette Beast is an open-world RPG where you send monsters into turn-based battles in the land of New Wiral. Record these monsters on cassette tapes and use the game’s fusion system to combine different monsters to create new monsters. Monsters use their abilities to solve puzzles and explore the land.
thirsty suitor
Thirsty Suitors covers a lot — explore ideas of self-expression, relationships, and more while battling exes in turn-based battles, skateboarding, and cooking. Before the ceremony, Jara must end her ex-boyfriend and other relationships while dealing with pressure from her parents. It’s chaotic and all sorts of great sounds.
lonely village
Lonesome Village combines elements of mystery solving with adventure and social simulation. As Wes the coyote, we work to rebuild a town that has mysteriously disappeared. Solve puzzles and free villagers inside a mysterious tower, decorate your home, craft items, garden, fish, mine and more before making friends.
scars above
On an uncomfortable note, we have Scars Above. This is a sci-fi third-person action-adventure shooter. Earth isn’t having a good time again. When something called Metahedron appears in Earth’s orbit and a Sentient Contact Assessment and Response (SCAR) team is dispatched to find out what’s going on, the team is taken to a strange new planet. We play as Dr. Kate Ward, a scientist and astronaut who must explore, survive and fight the planet to find the rest of the crew.
football story
In Soccer Story, Soccer Inc. closed all stadiums and teams and banned matches, but according to the magic soccer ball, we are the saviors of soccer. Once again: soccer. An adventure RPG about solving puzzles, winning games, and ultimately saving football.
