One Pokémon-like monster catching game that has actually done quite well on its own is Temtem. Since arriving on Nintendo Switch last September, the game has received many updates.
This latest (version 1.3) is probably the most exciting update yet – it adds new modes, areas, seasons, events and more:
For starters, the new “nuz lock modewhich imposes “heavy and hardcore rules” on players:
“I have no choice but to catch First two temtems displayed per route (One Temtem at a time if you’re playing co-op!), killing them or running away from them still counts as seeing them.
“Temu fainted during the adventure will be released After the battle. Since the captured tems have no fertility left, they will not breed, and if all the tems are KO’d, you may lose a run. ”
next random lock mode. Share the rules of Nuzlocke mode and randomize a lot of things.
“from Temtem (Including tems earned from starters and quests!), Technique, Collected items In the world, NPC squad, wild encounter… The only Temtem species left in the wild (mostly for technical reasons) include their stats and evolutionary lineages, traits, and gear. As such, the Thames remain part of their identity even in this chaotic challenge mode. ”
Then there is the new S.speed run mode – Your task is to complete sections and games as quickly as possible. Winning at a certain time awards some items in the main slot.
With this comes a new season.”Season 3 – Clash of the Tamers“, new event “Leprechaun’s Eve”, balance changes and improvements. Last but not least, there is new territory. Nanto LabHere’s an overview:
“Nanto Labs’ doors open to all curious Tamers in 1.3! Inside, you can exchange your Lumas for a very expensive new currency. luma drop.
“The amount of Luma Drops you receive for each Luma is Temtem speciesand you OT for them or soul bound to them. The more you want, the more you have to sacrifice, this is the law of equivalent exchange. ”
