Other announcements from Pokémon Presents today:
- Originally announced in 2019, Pokemon Sleep has been relaunched today and is aiming for a July launch. Compatible with the new version of the Pokemon Go Plus accessory that sits on the user’s pillow instead of a smartphone.
- Pokemon Home will be updated “early 2023” for Scarlet and Violet support. Players can transfer postcards received from Pokémon Go into the game to get special encounters with Pokémon His Vivillon. The sender of the postcard receives the opportunity to catch the Gimmiguru coin form.
- A new stop-motion anime series “Pokémon Concierge” produced in collaboration with Netflix has been announced.
- The classic version of the Pokémon trading card game will be released in premium format. More details on these will be announced at the Pokémon World Championships this summer (August 11-13).
- Pokemon Unite has added Pokemon Sword’s box mascot, Zacian, as a playable character.
- Pokemon Cafe Remix will offer the option to ‘hire’ Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters later today.
- Pokémon Masters EX adds new versions of Pokémon Sword and Shield Rivals. Each represents a different Galar mythical bird (Bede/Alticuno, Hop/Zapdos, Marnie/Mortle).
