It’s time for a new episode of Best horror movies you’ve never seen This video series takes a look back at the 1991 Thrasher. What’s scarier than an all-night ‘horrorthon’? A group of film students find themselves staging just such an event in an abandoned movie theater. In addition to the three features — MOSQUITO, THE ATTACK OF THE AMAZING ELECTRIFIED MAN, THE STENCH — they decided to show a bizarre short film called THE POSSESSOR. Maggie (Jill Schaeren, stepfather) has been having terrifying dreams that she believes have something to do with the owner. As the festival progresses, a nightmare comes true as she and her friends are stalked and murdered by a mysterious killer. Could Gates survive and carry on THE POSSESSOR’s deadly legacy?
movie star Jill Schaeren, Tom Billard, Dee Wallace, Derek Rydal, Elliott Hurst, Kelly Joe Minter, Malcolm Danaire, Ray Walston, Tony Roberts. The script was written by Alan Ormsby under the name Todd Hackett, who also directed the footage shot for the film within the film. Helier was then brought in to replace Ormsby as director, and Schaeren replaced the original lead actress Amy O’Neill.
