In true Crash Bandicoot fashion, every map is filled with dangers, surprises, and wild traps that will test your platforming skills.
The team at Toys For Bob has taken all the familiar locales that fans have known from previous Crash games and reimagined them into combat arenas with unique relic stations that make every match feel fresh and unique. Relic Stations are activated by teammates and can provide boosts to your team or wreak havoc on your opponents. To activate Relic Stations, players must collect floating Relics scattered around the map and deposit them in Relic Stations to activate their powers.
Relic stations have wild and diverse abilities that are always unique to the map being played. For example, one map has a relic station that produces mushrooms that can slow and damage enemies, but not harm allies. On other maps, Relic Stations can summon deadly UFOs to hunt down enemies, or rain meteors from the skies to deal serious damage. Each team can activate the same Relic Station, making it a frenetic race to see which team can deposit enough Relics to be the first to acquire these powerful abilities.
To see how these Relic Stations affect the flow of the match, we take a look at a never-before-seen map, Serenity Gardens. This stage may look peaceful, but each match on this melee map is filled with chaos and sanity.true to his roots Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Activating the Akano Relic Station equips your team with a powerful spin attack that damages and blows away enemies. This powerful vortex allows the player to glide while jumping, greatly increasing both the power and mobility of the team. If players are having a hard time dealing with opponents attacking their team’s Wampa Bank, equip Akano and blow them away!
The game’s name is Wampa Fruit Harvest, and the richest harvest comes through Big Bonsai, the map’s epic relic station. Located in the center of the map, activating this power creates a giant tree filled with stashes of ripe wampas. Each of these golden fruits is worth 100 Wampa Fruits and can be picked up by members of the player’s team and taken back to the Wampa Bank for scoring. Even if your team is behind, a concerted push can turn the tide by capturing every Wumpa cache on the tree. However, players should be careful. If an enemy knocks you out while carrying a Wampa’s stash, it’s lost forever. If the opposing team activates his Big Bonsai, you’ll need to work with them to stop him from capturing all of Wumpa’s stash and securing a huge lead.
