With less than a week until release, Square Enix has confirmed that a physical copy of Final Fantasy 16 has been leaked, and has investigated “illegal acquisition” prior to the game’s release to determine what they may cause. It said it was “acting to limit” the damage. June 22nd release date. So, my friends, please be aware that this may contain spoilers.
Square Enix shared the following news twitter, We’re also asking those who got early copies to respect those who haven’t played yet by not sharing screenshots or videos, and to refrain from livestreaming the game until June 22nd. increase.

“We are aware that a small number of physical copies of Final Fantasy XVI are in circulation,” Square Enix wrote. “We are conducting a thorough investigation into any illegal takeovers and are taking action to limit them ahead of the game’s official release on June 22nd.
“For those who received a pre-launch copy, please do not share any aspect of the game, including screenshots, videos, livestreams, etc., until FINAL FANTASY XVI is officially released.
“Our priority is to ensure that the full gaming experience for our fans is not compromised, and to that end, we plan to remove all images, videos, and streams published prior to the launch date. We ask for everyone’s support and cooperation towards this.” One week before the release.
“June 22nd is just around the corner, and we can’t wait for you to experience the full game the development team intended.”
If you can’t wait for Final Fantasy 16, you’ll be happy to know that a playable demo is now available for PS5 that features the first few hours of the game and transfers save data throughout the game.
