PSN is down Now in several regions including the US and UK. PlayStation Network services appear to be partially affected on PS4 and PS5.
Sony’s network status page confirms PSN is down
At the time of this writing, PlayStation Network status page indicates PS storePS Direct, and Games and Social Services are down across Sony’s platforms.
“There may be problems launching games, apps, or network features,” a notice from the official PlayStation website appears. “We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
As far as the PS Store goes, Sony says players may have trouble performing some or all of the following actions:
- purchase
- download
- Browse
- search
- redeem voucher
Account Management Service and PS Video are not affected at this time.
The outage originally started about an hour ago and it’s unclear when it will be fixed. If you’re having trouble playing a single-player game, or if the game doesn’t require an online connection to run, we recommend temporarily disconnecting your console from the internet.
