Deston is currently open to PC players, but console players must play until July 21st.
Deston is located in a city struck by a large hurricane, with a mixture of rich vegetation in some areas and a mixture of large cities in others. At the heart of the city on the map is Lipton, one of the game’s biggest expanses, as well as the partially submerged downtown area of Lipton.The city also includes the tallest skyscrapers in PUBG history.
PUBG Studios has also introduced a new device called Ascenders to help players cope with the new heights of the map. This is basically a vertical mechanized zipline that can automatically move players to the top or bottom of a building or skyscraper. It’s basically an elevator, except that it has no walls, ceilings, or floors. The map also includes new vehicles such as pillar cars and new weapons such as the MP9 SMG and 012 shotgun.
