In this week’s Pure Nintendo Podcast, Kirk and Gemma share their first impressions of Pikmin 4 based on the recently released demo. Are you excited about the imminent release of the full game?
We’ve both spent time demoing Pikmin 4, which just debuted last week. The demo is pretty substantial and will give you hours of gameplay. In it, we introduce new Ice Pikmin and Orch the dog, all using our custom-built astronaut to rescue other stranded travelers. It’s been a great time and I’m very much looking forward to the full game release later this month.
Kirk also provides a comprehensive update on the mysterious JRPG we mentioned a few weeks ago. Now that the embargo has been lifted, we can reveal the title. The Legend of Heroes: The Trajectory of Dreams. Kirk does a good job summarizing the series and this latest installment.
We’ll also cover some interesting titles that are launching later this year and are sure to be popular with younger audiences. First, in The Grinch: A Christmas Adventure, your favorite villain and hero embarks on his quest in the Christmas-stealing platformer.
Then there’s the Baby Shark: Singing and Swimming Party. It was only a matter of time before her super-popular Baby Shark was coming to her Switch, but it turns out that this puzzle-his game is coming later this year. Gemma also has a fun Baby Shark story to accompany the announcement.
