Nintendo has gone all out with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The world is yours with the new Ultra Hand and Fuse mechanics. Anything you can think of is probably either built with Ultrahand or stuck with Fuse. The possibilities seem endless.
In fact, one player has discovered a rather novel way to travel the land of Hyrule, which is not at all difficult to achieve. As you already know, Breath of the Wildusing the shield as a kind of impromptu snowboard will allow you to surf the slopes with ease.
As demonstrated in the video above, Tears of the Kingdom lets you take this a step further by fusing shields into minecarts. Sounds silly, right? Well, it works. Once you’ve fused the minecart to the shield, just follow the same steps required for shield surfing (“ZL” to lift the shield, jump, press “A”) and you’re done with the full set. Number of wheels at your disposal.
This means you can surf almost anywhere on relatively flat terrain. Sure, if you’re on a flat surface, you probably won’t be able to reach that far, but it’s still cool.
