First introduced in Street Fighter V, the charming Rashid returns to the series in search of a new outlook on life. Inspired, he realizes that he wants to find the strongest warriors in the world and record what their strength means. Thus began his path to becoming a vlogger, always carrying a trusty camera and live streaming to capture the spirit of strength.

According to game director Takayuki Nakayama, Rashid’s hair and bangs were a challenge, requiring a lot of trial and error to get it right. He wanted to emphasize his use of wind and parkour, so he used a thin, fluttering cloth material. Since it is a foot bar, there is a camera attached to the belt that crosses the chest, and since it is a character who likes gadgets, a smart watch is embedded in the bracelet. Adding air to the sandal emphasizes the lightness and bouncy parkour movement. Attack parts such as gloves and sandals are decorated with a hawk beak motif.
Rashid retains many of Street Fighter V’s previous move sets, but the winds of change bring new inspiration to play with. Rashid’s trademark ability to fly across the stage from all angles remains the same, but with more options to trigger a hurricane.
Nakayama provided some insight into how Rashid plays in Street Fighter 6.
His unique fighting style is characterized by parkour and agile movements, as well as utilizing whirlwinds and air currents to toss his enemies. He has many techniques to attack while moving forward, and has a unique run action that he uses from his forward step, giving him plenty of ways to approach the enemy.
His normal moves have some quirks and are easy to execute, making for a stable and neutral game. In “Street Fighter 6”, Rashid’s basic ease of handling in “Street Fighter V” was kept as is, but the range of movements that incorporated a lot of acrobatic movements and air currents was expanded.
For example, Arabian Cyclone is a new special that Rashid can use on its own when performing a spinning kick that causes a small whirlwind, and can transition to Rolling Assault and Wing Stroke, previously available as street V-skills. can. Fighter V. Combos incorporating these moves look very good, so be sure to try them out in action.
Other additions, Rashid has the ability to generate and use whirlwinds/air currents to improve mobility and enhance his moves. Rashid’s V-Trigger I from Street Fighter V caused quite a stir, becoming a Level 2 Super Izar. Like last time, some of Rasheed’s specials change their nature when they encounter a large whirlwind. His Whirlwind Shot also has the ability to create an air current when held and charged. His OD version of the aforementioned Arabian his Cyclone also creates the airflow that Rasheed leads to victory. Airflow can be used to extend neutral game, strings, and combos to let your player’s personality shine.
These elements make Rashid’s character stand out even more, and I hope you can experience the joy of moving around on the screen.
Rashid also has a new double jump move known as Arabian Skyhigh, which allows opponents to reliably guess where he will land from the air. Finally, Rashid can also switch sides with a side flip, followed by a front flip to lift Rashid into the air again. After all, he wants you to get the best angles.
The Super Rashid Kick is his level 1 Super, where Rashid soars forward into the air and unleashes a devastating kick.
Altair returns as Rashid’s level 3 Super, whirling and summoning a storm that lifts enemies into the air, raining down on them a powerful blow of Monsoon.
Rashid will be unlocked for Year 1 Character Pass owners on July 24th. Substitute means the person who owns the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition. If in doubt, try Rasheed for free for 1 hour with 1 Rental Fighter Ticket available in Fighting Pass.
