Frontier Developments has released the first gameplay trailer for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin, the upcoming RTS game based on Games Workshop’s fantasy universe.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is Frontier Developments’ new fantasy RTS game coming soon to Xbox Series X|S. The latest trailer gives us a first look at the gameplay. If you want to try it yourself, you don’t have to wait long as it will be in open beta from July 7th through July 10th. .

Based on Games Workshop’s tabletop game, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin offers a cinematic single-player campaign and competitive cross-platform multiplayer in 1v1 and 2v2 matches To do. Not much has been revealed about the single-player portion of the game, but Frontier Developments has revealed a few bits about multiplayer, which will let you control four different factions.
“In Realms of Ruin multiplayer matches, the goal is to control more victory points than your opponent and deplete your score to zero in fast-firing and exciting games. Fight on multiple fronts as you capture and strengthen your armies, by building fortifications in these locations and accumulating more resources as you advance toward annihilating the enemy,” says Frontier. “Unlocking additional tiers in the tech tree allows each faction to unleash the scariest, most visually spectacular squads, resulting in a ferocious and ever-changing tug-of-war for control of the map. “
If you’d like to try Warhammer Age of Sigma: Realms of Ruin before launch, a cross-platform open beta will be available from July 7th to July 10th on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Only 1v1 multiplayer matches will be playable during the Beta, but you’ll be given the chance to play both Stormcast Eternals and Orruk Kruleboyz. Additional open betas will then be available later this summer.
