end of this month, resident evil 4A big, fancy remake of It will be released on consoles and PC. And it looks great! But someone remade the game’s iconic opening as a Lego video game, and now I want to play this different, great-looking game. RE4 remake.
Released in 2005, resident evil 4 It took Capcom’s long-running horror franchise in a new direction.Performed by Leon Resident Evil 2, This beloved sequel ditched the old entry’s static camera and tank controls and moved to an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective while improving the action. And the new video shows what would happen if you took the same basic setup, but replaced the dingy maps and realistic visuals with lots of digital Lego bricks.
created by Carla Alea Triowith a clear title “Lego Resident Evil 4 Animation‘ may not win any awards for its aptly named name, but everything else in this short video is great. are (Not an upcoming remake or its recent demo) to reproduce the first few minutes of RE4.
This is not just a cutscene reenactment. Instead, Aleatorio actually includes Lego-esque gameplay where Leon walks around and shoots birds and enemies. The pistol he’s using isn’t an actual Lego piece as far as I can tell, but it looks really good and feels appropriately Lego-like, so I’ll keep it slide. I also appreciate all the small details in the video, such as how the item reflects off of it. At times this looks like it was made out of real bricks!
But according to Aleatrió, it was actually created digitally in Blender. It took him about two months and 3,000 images to create a short four-minute video. And at the end of the short, you’ll find behind-the-scenes footage of manually animating this fantastic Lego recreation.
