of resident evil 4 remake is one of the most anticipated upcoming games, and after missing Gamescom, we were hoping to get a sneak peek at it at Tokyo Game Show 2022…but unfortunately that’s not part of Capcom’s plans. It seems that.
Resident Evil 4 Remake isn’t part of Capcom’s TGS lineup
Capcom released its TGS 2022 lineup today, and fans quickly noticed the omission. Resident Evil Village Gold Edition was cut, but there doesn’t seem to be an update for Resident Evil 4 Remake. Outside of the Village, we bring you news on Exo Primal, Street Fighter 6, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 2, and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. All in all, a pretty lean TGS for Capcom this year.
Despite his absence, he’s not too concerned about the game’s status and shows no signs of slipping away from its March 24, 2023 release date. With its October 28, 2022 release, it makes sense Capcom would focus on building Resident Evil Village Gold Edition hype with his TGS.
The TGS2022 Capcom Online Program (what the company calls the Stream) will premiere on September 15th at 7am PDT/10am EDT. There will also be a TGS2022 Street Fighter 6 special program on September 16th at 8am PDT/11am EDT, which will plunge you into Fighting Ground Mode and World Tour Mode with real-time gameplay.
It’s anyone’s guess as to when we’ll next see the Resident Evil 4 remake—we didn’t get much information about this when it was announced at State of Play in June. We hope to see you at the next State of Play, but no date has been revealed yet.
In other news, Gran Turismo 7 Haggerty’s car prices have risen again, and the GPD Win 4 looks a lot like the PS Vita.
