A tweet from Insomniac Games didn’t know much about Resistance 2, but the most important thing is timing. Other than the upcoming PS Plus Premium game, there’s little reason for developers to tweet about the game when they’re focused on Ratchet & Crank: Lift Apartment and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of Imminent PC Release. Year edition. After all, Resistance 3 is already part of PS Plus Premium, and Resistance: Retribution has recently been rated for PS5 and PS4 in South Korea, suggesting that it’s coming soon. However, this game was not included in the list of previously leaked titles.
Players are beginning to raise expectations for a Resistance 2 remaster following a tweet, or a remaster of the entire mainline trilogy. The image above has been used many times before, but players are confident that it will look better than the original 14 years ago. This could be the result of playing a game on a PS4 or PS5 via PS Plus, but it doesn’t hurt your hope, right? The franchise needs a whole new game. Insomniac is already working on two big projects (Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine) and it’s not yet clear if they can undertake one-third.
In other news, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Remaster runs on PS5 at 60 FPS. Elsewhere, some prominent politicians and news outlets have misidentified Shinzo Abe’s assassin as Hideo Kojima.
