I hate corporate fraud. It’s rough, it’s gritty, it’s exciting, and it happens everywhere.
As the one-year anniversary of Knights of the Old Republic II’s release on Switch approaches, the publisher is ditching a major selling point.
In a social media post this evening, Aspyr Media announced that the “restored content” DLC, which was announced to be released on June 8, 2022, has been canceled without providing any details. Anyone who purchased the game prior to the cancellation announcement should contact Aspyr for compensation in the form of his Steam code for the game (which includes the content) or another Star Wars game for Switch published by Aspyr. can ask.
“Restored Content” refers to content that was intended to be included in the original release of Knights of the Old Republic II in 2004, but was not included in the shipped game. This includes fixing missing story content and some critical bugs. Originally a fan mod, Aspyr approved the content starting with an update for his Steam release of the game in July 2015.
