To make June a huge success, Capcom today released Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. This is a paid DLC for new entries. Yesterday, there was also a regular Monster Hunter Rise update preparing for this expansion.
If you’re still not sure if you should get the DLC after a demo trial of the game, we’ve put together a review so far. Please be aware that there are some unique reviews along the way. And if you’re interested, here are the patch notes:
Let’s see what the critics had to say about this next chapter of Monster Hunter Rise so that it doesn’t get in the way.
Start from IGN, It summarizes that it has some cool new monsters, but there aren’t many new ideas. The original game was scored 8 out of 10 but the DLC score was 1 point less and 7 out of 10 was given.
“Sunbreak isn’t as substantive or surprising as Iceborne’s in Monster Hunter World. They lack fresh ideas beyond the clever AI followers limited to single-player hunts, left behind by their absence. We may even abandon the rampaging quest without actually trying to fill the gap. “
Team over polygon I enjoyed the DLC but felt that I should dive directly into the content of the new monsters.
“In so many good struggles SunbreakIt’s frustrating to sacrifice a feeling of fullness, one of the biggest villains of AAA video games.I would rather see Sunbreak Offer me a shorter campaign focused on new monsters and give me the option to fight the master-ranked version of the original roster in my spare time. But instead, I spent the expansion’s business hours attacking familiar enemies. That is to get to the good.Play as such Sunbreak It feels like opening an exciting gift covered in tape. “
PC gamer I gave the computer version 89 points out of 100. Rise thinks it’s “as good as the previous series,” but DLC is essentially “almost the same,” and may not be able to provide enough “new” content to some fans. Please note. :
“Monster Hunter Rise is better than ever, and so is Sunbreak. It’s pretty difficult, but it feels like the right call. For some fans in the series, you can probably add 10. Some of the things added to the score are more important than the ones initially displayed, and they lack the thrill of new ones, even if they essentially serve as a good end to an already vast experience.
Hunter Twinfinite At Sunbreak DLC, I felt that “everything old is new.” We praise it with 4.5 out of 5 points and recommend it as “absolutely easy” for those who want to come back.
“Currently, Sunbreak represents the best of Monster Hunter Rise, re-contexting the base game through a clever integration of old and new. It doesn’t transform the enthusiastic fans who bounced off Rise, but I love it. A change to the official Monster Hunter for humans, Sunbreak represents a new benchmark in the series and is absolutely easy for anyone trying to dive back. “
And last but not least Mako Reactor Gives 10 out of 10-labeled “absolutely essential” for existing owners of Monster Hunter Rise:
“Sunbreak enhances and improves Monster Hunter Rise in every way. Monsters are more challenging, the music is much better, and after the game it’s actually suitable for more than a few hunts. The new mechanic This is absolutely essential for all Monster Hunter Rise owners, even if Capcom has never updated the title, which gives it even more depth to those who want to dig up. You can’t wait hundreds of hours. Year. “
