Seasonic TX-1000 has the best build quality. In addition to good soldering work, we use Japanese caps everywhere, including many polymer caps besides electrolytic caps and hydrodynamic bearing fans. Seasonal engineers have done their best to provide ultra-high efficiency and silent operation at the same time in all load areas, along with increased reliability.
In terms of performance, this PSU is in the top league due to its tight load regulation on all rails, excellent ripple suppression without the hassle of in-line caps, and very long hold-up times. .. What’s more, the efficiency of the 5VSB rail is high, and at light loads, the PSU achieves some of the most efficient measurements ever seen.
So if you are looking for the best PSU for your game (Opens in a new tab) This is 1000W.

Seasonic has been a big hit on the Prime platform, starting with Gold’s efficiency and ending with Titanium. Several influential brands have already incorporated the platform into Portino, including Asus (Rog Thor 1200W), Corsair (AX line) and the legendary signature line Antec.
If Seasonic could manufacture these units further, more brands could line up to get them, despite the higher prices. But unfortunately, the vast majority of buyers prefer inefficient and affordable power supplies. Still, if the OEM is confident enough to provide the platform with a 12-year warranty, then this is a bulletproof product.
By the way, the build quality is the best and Seasonic used the best parts available to make this platform. Japanese manufacturers offer all caps and cooling fans use hydrodynamic bearings. Fan maker Hong Hua has proven to be a reliable maker, which is why it is so popular with high-end PSUs.
rail | 3.3V | 5V | 12V | 5VSB | -12V |

Maximum power (ampere) | twenty five | twenty five | 100 | 3 | 0.3 |
Maximum power (watts) | 125 | 125 | 996 | 15 | 3.6 |
A single 12V rail can provide almost full power of the unit alone, while minor rails can reach up to 125W in total.
cable | Amount included | Cap inside the cable |

4 + 4 pin EPS12V | 2 | No |

An important asset of the TX-1000 is that it has 6 PCIe connectors on its dedicated cable. You need to avoid using a single cable with two PCIe connectors. There is no problem powering the energy-intensive graphics card. Currently only the 12 + 4 PCIe connector is missing. This will be added in a future revision of this platform.
performance
The Seasonic Prime Titanium 1000 is the king of performance in this wattage category.
Strict load regulation on all rails and good ripple suppression. The holdup time is over 20ms, the power ok signal is accurate and the holdup time is over 16ms. Inrush currents are on average low levels.
The efficiency was very high over all load ranges, but the 5VSB rails were expected to be more efficient and comparable to other circuits on the PSU. Still, only the SilverStone Titanium unit can take the lead in this regard, and thankfully the TX-1000’s vampire power is low. Transient response is also good on all rails.
The 12V OCP trigger point is set correctly, but it’s too high for other rails, especially the 5VSB where ripple becomes uncontrollable when this rail is overloaded. OPP is also high, but the platform can be overwhelming. Still, it is unwise to overload the PSU for long periods of time. If your current PSU does not meet your power requirements, you need to get a stronger PSU.
Importantly, the TX-1000 is one of the quietest PSUs available on the market. High efficiency levels help with that.
Final idea
Seasonic’s Prime platform has maintained its performance crown for several years after its development. Given the new requirements of the ATX 3.0 specification, Seasonic needs to adjust it to make it compatible with the next generation of GPUs, including 12 + 4 pin connectors. But thanks to its high performance and excellent transient response, this isn’t a big headache, but it’s not easy to change the product, so it’s of course time consuming and expensive.
The TX-1000 easily dealt with the competition and its brother, the Corsair AX1000, was a major competitor, but the latter withdrew from the market, leaving the TX-1000 at the top of the chart. With the 12-year warranty provided by Seasonic, there is no doubt that this platform is reliable. Future buyers will have a long-term sense of security.
