When it came time to brainstorm new content for Shredders Revenge, we immediately wanted to add something new to complement the fast-paced arcade gameplay we had already created.
The new survival mode was like Krang’s empty android body. This is easy. We already knew fans wanted it, but now it’s clear Survival mode will be the new arena for multiplayer fun. A mode in which players can enter and exit, fight new enemies, collect strange power-ups, and discover new worlds.
What’s going on with the shell?
Interrupting a pizza party, Dimension X’s most ferocious rebel, Neutrino, asks the Turtles for help. The Foot Clan has advanced across dimensions and only mutant martial artists can stop them. Always ready to take down the bad guys, the Turtles agree to pause the party and jump into a multi-world brawl.
In Dimension Shellshock’s new survival mode, the Turtles battle across worlds collecting shards to build the Dimension Crystal. Assemble the Gems of the Multiverse, the mischievous Reptilian can venture deep into the dimensions and face off against the Shredder.
Once you enter the dimensional gauntlet, you’ll find yourself fighting in various arenas and facing enemies old and new.
Collect enough crystals and you’ll be able to fight Shredder in the void. Defeating him will give you the option to return to Neutrino’s homeworld or continue fighting for the toughest challenge to reach the top of the leaderboard.
one of battle
Survival mode is not like walking through an alien park. Players will face over 100 unique combat challenges, including waves of different enemies, tailored for one or more players.
A new infantry variant equipped with punitive weapons is going to turn you into turtle soup, so be careful!
Controlling waves of enemies can be even more difficult for ferocious fighters. Foot clans issue variations of their soldiers, so enemies evolve into more powerful versions.
Infantry aren’t the only obstacles on your way to the shredder. Clan Foot’s multi-world travels have made the dimension susceptible to extreme conditions. A powerful gust of wind can send you flying straight into an enemy’s hand, and low gravity can allow you to leap higher than before. Beware of danger from above. The crystalline stalactites plunge straight into the ground, putting your carapace at risk if you’re not careful.
Perks and Recreation
If you are strong enough to defeat the entire Horde, two reward portals will appear. Both not only lead you to the next battle, but also provide game-changing bonuses. A sick ninja might be offered a useful pizza, a large amount of debris, or even a container of mysterious mucus. If you choose Ooze, you’ll have access to a special mutation perk that transforms your hero.
Want to make your hero faster by opting for the Turbo Teen perk? Become a Rude Dude and double your attack power, but risk doubling your damage? Between rounds, you can transform into Bebop, Rocksteady, or even the evil Shredder.
Dimensional Shellshock’s Survival Mode is aptly titled. A pan-dimensional adventure begins with basic abilities and just his one life. Assembling new crystals is now the only way to gain more life energy, boost your ninja power bar, add precious extra lives, as well as the ability to choose your preferred challenge level. increase.
Beyond the Multiverse
The new game mode moves beyond the usual campaign levels to a merry-go-round of combat arenas inspired by TMNT’s rich history. Start your journey in a rabbit bouncer-inspired Edo dimension, dive into an 8-bit battlefield, and battle your way through omnichannel 6 and beyond.
You may start to feel homesick, but old friends and foes will join you in cheering you on in your victories and applauding you in your defeats.
Making Shredder’s Revenge was a lifelong dream and a career high for all of us at Tribute Games. We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to return to that well and add to the Turtles video game legacy.
We hope you’ll join us for another round of the TMNT Toybox when the Dimension Shellshock DLC launches on PlayStation 4 later this year.
