By the time you solve the puzzle with tarot cards and moon phases, things have been earned strange at Signalis. Suddenly you are at the Rotfront and meat reigns. Upon arrival, you will see a large mural depicting the phases of the moon. One of them doesn’t have an adjustable ring, but don’t worry about it now. I get the meat. In the Rotfront area, your main goal is to find 6 Tarot cards to solve the Moon Phases puzzle. Here’s how to do all the steps:
how to find tarot cards
As you might have guessed, Tarot cards are scattered throughout the area and are not fully accessible at once. Given that the whole purpose of the new area is to find Tarot cards, it’s up to you to round them up. However, here’s a quick overview of where you’ll encounter them.
- The Lover Card can be found by using acetone on the painting.
- Death can be obtained by using Erika Ito’s birthday on the keypad and watching Isa die in the bookstore.
- Moons can be found in safes unlocked using Pareidoria.
- The sun is obtained by developing a photograph and using it in a scanner.
- To get the Star Card, you need to radio-broadcast the magpie’s call to a locked magpie box.
- The tower is in the cafeteria’s mouthwatering food.
How to use tarot cards
Once you have all the Tarot cards and the “Patient’s Key” you need to go to the apartment labeled “512”. Inside is a table with six card-sized pieces and a diary carved into it. The diary is actually not that cryptic. It talks about the writer having five dreams, each associated with a planet, suggesting quite clearly which card corresponds to each. I speak clearly.
Your task is to set each card in its corresponding place in the dream. Signalis is pretty cruel about giving you 6 cards, also considering how many items you can hold in your inventory. You may have to go back to the magic box a few times. Once you have them all on the table, arrange them like this:
- Sun – Buyan
- Star – Himat
- Tower – Vineta
- Lovers – Kitezh
- Death – Ren
- Moon – Rotfront
Once the cards are in place, flick the switch in the top left corner of the screen. This will turn on the ultraviolet light and illuminate the symbols on the card with very obvious moon phases. You’ll need to write down the moon phases and the planets they correspond to, then go back to the room where you originally painted the mural.
Moon or solar eclipse?
If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to pick up the ring the flesh drops and insert it into the Rotfront circle of the mural. The task here is to match each planet with its moon phase. It sounds simple, but it’s easy to get confused. Remember that gold is the moon and blue is the shadow. To represent a full moon, the entire circle should be gold and a new moon blue.
This is what they should be like:
- Buyan – Full
- Vineta – Waxing Gibbous (left shadow)
- Kitezh – Warning Gibbous (right shadow)
- Lotfront – New
- Heimat – Waxing Gibbous (left shadow)
- Leng – Waxing Crescent (shadow mostly covering left side)
Once these are set, the hole in the middle of the mural will instantly widen. There are no buttons to push, so if you need to make a fine adjustment, you know it’s right because it changes instantly.
After passing there, you are on the homestretch. Good luck. Read Signalis’ review for more on the survival horror game.
