Developed in collaboration with our friends at Flix Interactive, the new Rough Landing mission sees a group of Allied aviators shot down and pursued by Nazi forces before being taken deep into the jungle. They hold valuable information that must be kept out of enemy hands at all costs. It’s up to you to find the crash site and discover where the airmen are.
Playable in both single player and co-op, the expansive map offers a variety of challenges, including deep forests to explore, villages, mine shafts, giant railway bridges, and more. There are also many opportunities for melee combat. This means that additional firepower may be required.
You’ll also receive two great new guns as part of the Rough Landing Pack: the Mosin-Nagant Rifle and the Sjogren Shotgun. We asked Lloyd Everson, Senior Designer at Flix Interactive, for some insight into your new firepower.

In addition to Rough Landing, we’re giving all players a ton of new weapons for free today! As part of our latest title update, everyone will receive the Trench Warfare Weapons Pack. Trench Warfare comes in the form of the Carl Gustav M/1945 SMG, Trench Gun and Double 1866 Pistol, which provides devastating firepower and is ideal for close quarters combat.
The Carl Gustav M/1945, known as the Swedish K, was adopted in 1945 and incorporated features from a variety of World War II firearms to produce a reliable and well-balanced submachine gun. Boasting a rate of fire of 600 rounds per minute, the Gustav provides accurate single shots while providing excellent control in continuous fire.
A powerful pump-action shotgun, the trench gun was first used by the US military during World War I and World War II. Delivered with 12-gauge ammunition from a 6-round tube magazine, it sacrifices range and rate of fire for extreme damage in close combat.
Finally, the Double 1866 is a 19th century designed double barrel pocket pistol with a fast draw and easily concealed backup. A unique feature of the D.1866 is that it features only a single-action trigger, making it a powerful close-range weapon despite producing a very low muzzle velocity.
