Pokémon GO’s next major event, Astral Eclipse, kicks off this week on November 23rd, bringing Cosmog’s final branch evolution to Solgaleo or Lunala. In this event, Cosmic Pokémon will spawn more frequently in the wild and Ultra Beasts will spawn in raids and research tasks during the Ultra Beasts Arrival event on November 27th.
The Astral Eclipse event begins on November 23rd at 10:00 AM local Trainer time and ends on November 28th at 8:00 PM, making it the last major event of the Season of Light. After the event ends, Trainers who have collected 100 Cosmoguame will be able to evolve Cosmomu into Sunne Pokémon Solgaleo or Moon Pokémon Lunala.
During the event, the following themed Pokémon will spawn in the wild more frequently.

Starryu may also be encountered when completing Field Research tasks.
Driflon, Flirish, Inkei, Rockruff will appear in the 1st raid, Tentacruel, Dordogion, Hisian Braviari will appear in the 3rd raid, and the super beast Nihilego will appear in the 5th raid. The Mega Hound Dome will be available in Mega Raids for the duration of the event.
The Astral Eclipse event also brings a small aesthetic change to the in-game map. A nebula sky appears on the horizon and you can catch Pokémon outside of AR mode.
The Ultra Beast Arrival event will also take place as part of Astral Eclipse, with in-person events in London and Los Angeles on November 26th, and a global event on November 27th. Depending on the location of the event:
