The release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has been plagued with bugs, ranging from weird graphical glitches to useful exploits to a frustrating series of game crashes and performance issues. Coupled with complaints about the game’s design, some fans decided to seek refunds for copies of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon His Violet.

The Nintendo eShop has a flat policy of not allowing refunds because they changed their mind, made an accidental purchase, or the player doesn’t like the game, but they do accept refunds for defective products.

So far, players have reported successful refunds in a number of regions, and some have given customers the right to refunds if the product is defective or not as advertised. There are strong consumer protection laws that give.
