south of the circle Tells a cinematic tale of survival, hope and love. It’s a story about beautiful moments in life that are worth making big promises to. But we also grapple with the big question — how do power and politics affect people, and how do they lead to disaster? It couldn’t have been made without accidents.
I was fascinated by the surreal beauty of Antarctica. Especially in his 60s, when low-tech was popular. They still hunted seals with wooden rifles, but there was no communication. It was a fascinating time, such as the Cold War era. A family friend was working in Antarctica at the time, a Cambridge scholar, south of the circle main character. A family friend of ours also helped establish the Antarctic Treaty, a peace treaty that would keep the world safe from nuclear war. The tension of the game rests on this. Peter is forced to head into a blizzard in search of his survival, but he remembers all of his past. Meet the wonderful Clara, a fellow scholar, experience a burgeoning romantic and intellectual love affair, and lead him to where we see him. Reconcile? And if he can keep his promise?
of south of the circle, we explored what happens to people when they are detached from all the structures that surround them in their daily lives. Was it? It was a great way to explore someone’s mind. What else is there when you are in such an environment? And the aforementioned surreal beauty? Even now retired, a friend of our family still gravitates to Antarctica. We all have the image of a perfect iceberg floating in Antarctica, but when we got there, we discovered what looked like a sunken volcanic crater. This crater is flanked by black ash, hidden from boats, and can be entered directly into its center. Even a gray day with no color anywhere is interesting in its own right, like black and white. The sounds are really evocative and can be heard from miles away. One time, in the cove in front of us, ice the size of a building broke and fell into the water, making a noise that I had never heard before. Four thunderclaps struck simultaneously, stopped for about a minute, and then went completely silent.
We wanted to tell stories about power and individuals and how these great forces affect our lives.A lot has happened socially since the 1960s. The game specifically explores the struggles Clara faced in her time trying to become a scholar. She is part of the second wave of feminism and has ambitions to become a successful academic, but is thwarted in many ways by the power structure around her. But the more I worked on the story of Peter and Clara, the more it became clear to me that this is a personal story, a story of the choices we make. I realized that things are small emotional decisions and commitments in life. And we want you to experience this as if you were there. How to work with some of the world’s best actors, including Anton Lesser of Thrones, to bring true believability to characters and speak to them in-game in line with real-life dialogue and emotion.
