Marvel’s Spider-Man PC Release If you don’t care about concurrent player numbers, it’s going to be Sony’s second largest Steam launch. The game, which launched at $60 on the platform, over the weekend he peaked at 64,893 concurrent players and still has to make it through Sunday. Spider-Man Remastered currently holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, based on 8,700 user reviews.
Spider-Man PC couldn’t quite beat God of War
So far, Spider-Man Remastered looks to be PlayStation Studios’ second biggest release on Steam/PC.God of War may keep his crown
Highest number of concurrent players ever

Despite being one of the world’s most popular superheroes, Spidey couldn’t quite beat Kratos. As Twitter user Benji Sales pointed out, God of War peaked at 73,529 concurrent players at launch. However, Spider-Man managed to beat out Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, peaking at 56,557 and 27,450 concurrent players respectively at launch.
This is a pretty impressive feat considering Spider-Man first launched almost four years ago and is listed on Steam at full price. If Sony’s first-party PC launch is any indication, there’s a healthy appetite for PlayStation exclusives on PC, and it’s normal for games to come with full price tags years after they’re first released. This is unprecedented.
Despite this success, Sony doesn’t plan to release first-party games on PC every day. At least not at the moment. No one knows what the future holds. For now, PC players will be able to enjoy another hit PlayStation exclusive as soon as his The Last of Us Part 1 launches on the platform.
In other news, it looks like the former Konami employee tasked with delisting PT has finally spoken out, and God of War Ragnarok leaks have begun to hit the internet.
