Starfield and Redfall appear to have been dropped from any plans Bethesda might have had to present at Gamescom. This is suggested in an updated blog post on his website for the company.
a blog post Bethesda’s website about the company’s appearances at Gamescom this year (thanks, euro gamer), it seems to have gone from offering fresh Starfield and Redfall gameplay to only showing previously released gameplay and not mentioning either game at all.
Two Bethesda games don’t look like they’ll be coming out next week, but it’s possible we’ll see more other Xbox Game Pass titles slated for launch in 2022 and 2023.
Bethesda may not show Starfield or Redfall gameplay at Gamescom.
According to the screen capture image above redditBethesda’s original Gamescom blog post said: This unsurprisingly got a bit of attention from the community, but shortly after the first blog was published, commentators said the blog had changed to: Get Fallout 76 while you’re in Starfield. Of course, we also have some surprises and goodies. “
That sounds fair enough, but it looks like the blog has been updated again, removing any mention of Starfield and Redfall altogether, so I’m not entirely sure what’s going on.Bethesda’s Annual Show QuakeCon, which is the case, premiered yesterday and offered a bit of Redfall action, but Starfield wasn’t mentioned. Did you think Death Stranding was coming to PC Game Pass? We didn’t, but let’s see where it is now.
Microsoft’s Xbox lineup for Gamescom doesn’t mention Starfield or Redfall’s Lair and Hair, but it does include some of the currently delayed High on Life, Obsidian’s Pentiment, and A Plague Tale: Requiem.
