Former Bethesda developer Nate Perkypyle, who previously worked on several Bethesda titles, commented on the scale of the Starfield project compared to Fallout 76.
It may be a long way off, but by any account Starfield is going to be an ambitious game. We know Xbox boss Phil Spencer wants Starfield to be the ‘most-played’ game in Bethesda history, and it looks like a number of developers are working to make that vision a reality. .
The Starfield team appears to be made up of a huge number of developers
“The main difference in that project is its scope, because Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4 were all one team,” Purkeypile said in an interview. at PCGamesN“Fallout 76 was mostly two, but Starfield is a much bigger project, with 500 people or something on the team, I think. [Fallout] 76 could have been 200.
The last proper look at the game was when the Xbox and Bethesda showcases showed Starfield gameplay. Both Starfield and Redfall are now on the big list of everything coming to Game Pass in 2022 and beyond. We will keep an eye on news on both titles.
