Join young King Evan on an epic adventure that blurs the lines between animated feature films and video games. Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom Princelaunches today on Xbox, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass.
As king, Evan is responsible for great power. An action RPG in which he sorties himself and fights to save the people. But the king’s mission does not end there. As part of his main game, Evan must develop an empire in a kingdom management mode like City Simulator and lead an army in real-time strategy like his mode in Skirmish.
These two modes are crucial to Evan’s leadership on and off the battlefield.
Kingdom management mode
After a certain point in the story, Evan will be able to sit on the throne and enter Kingdom Management mode. Starting in a small, humble town, help Evan guide his people by choosing which buildings to build and assigning citizens to work in their respective sections.
Each building brings a great convenience or bonus to your kingdom. Some buildings constructed in Kingdom Management Mode are the sole source of some rare items.
Citizens drive upgrades and research in Evan’s kingdom. Each citizen has their own specialties and bonuses that make them suitable for one or another job. It is Evan’s job as King to make this assessment and decision.
Pro tip: If magic appeals to you, prioritize Evermore Spellworks. New spells can be upgraded and researched in this building!

skirmish mode
To build and expand his kingdom, Evan must demonstrate his tactical prowess by leading his army against other enemy forces in a real-time strategy-like mode called Skirmish Mode. In this mode, Evan commands up to 4 units of soldiers. Each soldier type is easily distinguished by the color of their uniforms.
Pro tip: Soldier type effectiveness is also determined by weapon type. For example, a sword is strong against a hammer, a hammer is strong against a spear, and a spear is strong against a sword. In other words, sword > hammer > spear > sword. Bows are strong against all types of weapons, but vulnerable to melee attacks.

of Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom Prince It takes a versatile skill set for Evan to successfully embrace his role as king. How will you choose to rise to this opportunity?
Enjoy the game now with Xbox Game Pass. This includes all DLCs that introduce new gameplay and story content. An adventure pack, a lost lord’s lair, and a timeless tome tale. Ni no Kuni II Revenant Kingdom is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.
