Minecraft plans to roll out a new update in 2023, currently known as the “1.20 update”. The update is still taking shape, and Mojang says the community will be involved in the naming process and more. Below is a quick recap of what was presented in this segment of Minecraft Live 2022.

New product: hanging sign
New Wood Set: Bamboo
In addition to bamboo from the new wood block set, players can also use this wood to craft bamboo rafts.
New Block: Carved Bookshelf
New Mob: Camel
“Road Trip! This tall, rideable mob has room for you and your friends. Camels can be found in desert villages, but it’s up to you to find your friends!”
The 1.20 beta/snapshot/preview update will be available to Minecraft users in just a few days, with the full update launching in 2023.
