Luke — Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics
The Mega Drive was the first console I owned, so I’ve always had a fondness for Sega’s 16-bit machines and some of the all-time classics it brought. Like most all retro collections, this one is missing a few notable games, with a few names including Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Ecco and Thunder Force games. Along with Story of Thor, Dynamite Headdy, Streets of Rage 2 and Shining Force, it’s an all-time classic. Plus, there’s plenty to enjoy in most of the other classics on here… but why would Sega insist on putting a terrible Mega Drive version of Virtua Fighter 2 in all of this stuff?
Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics accomplishments are fairly straightforward, as evidenced by the game’s 8- to 10-hour estimate. Many of the game-specific ones can be easily unlocked if you can use cheats in the original game to skip stages and gain other benefits. And honestly, most of them aren’t or Although getting people to play Vectorman 2 is just mean. That said, at least I won’t suffer from beastification…

Sean — Grid Legends: Deluxe Edition
At $15.99/£19.99/€22.49, it does much worse than Grid Legends: Deluxe Edition. Granted, Grid Legends isn’t the best racing game out there, but little Lewis Hamilton (sorry, I don’t really know the other racing car his driver. Good stuff?) If you’re tired of the goodness of motorsport inside. Legends sometimes straddles the racing line between arcade and sim racing, but with highly assisted driving controls (some of these are turned off for a better handling experience), rewind functionality, Nemesis, etc. , which leans more toward the arcade side. AI system. Driving here feels good, the cars have real weight and the physics are more convincing as a result, but what I really liked about Legends is that it makes the racing experience more authentic and exciting. It was a Nemesis AI system that made you feel. What else is Grid Legends good at? Story mode. why? It’s good because the sentences are bad. Grid Legends’ Drive to Glory has some of the cheesiest writing I’ve ever come across in a game, and I love it for that. Presented as a fly-on-the-wall documentary, you join Seneca Racing as a rookie and eventually battle the pros looking to knock out the big, bad meanies that are Team Ravenwest and Nathan McCain. .top spot. It’s all very melodramatic, and if you’re into questionable writing and rather erratic acting, you’ll love Story Mode. A great racing game is here.

Grid Legends: Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition includes access to 4 post-launch DLC packs, featuring unmissable additional vehicles, story experiences, bonus Ravenwest Career Events, and exclusive Weekly/Monthly Challenges.
Tom — Murder: Soul Suspect
Probably not the highest rated game, but like most of my picks, I loved playing Murdered: Soul Suspect. This is a third-person action game that puts you in the shoes of recently deceased detective Ronan O’Connor. He must use his recently acquired ghostly powers to solve his own murders and hunt down a serial killer. As far as guides go, this is a very short one-hit wonder, but it does have a pretty cool story and simple puzzles. It’s a lot of fun to watch. It doesn’t get in the way of combat, but you’ll need to use Ronan’s teleportation ability to avoid and sneak out demons. Considering the current 85% discount has him under £3, this is a bargain. You can also have a cat. This is worth buying as is.

Murder: Soul Suspect
A dark and supernatural detective thriller with a unique gameplay twist: Solve your own murder case from the afterlife.
