Bandai Namco has announced that patch 1.2 for “Tales of Symphonia Remastered” will be released on May 18, just over three months after its release. However, fans are still angry about the issues that exist in the game.
according to patch notes The company released it on its site on Tuesday, and the update will fix various quality-of-life issues players have reported since the game’s launch in February. These include:

However, these updates are not enough to satisfy players, especially those who own the Nintendo Switch version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered.in a story subreddit, when u/guccijuicy asked if the game was a bad experience for new players, the majority of fans said that the Switch version had severe performance issues, frequent crashes, long load times, and framerates, making it a poor match for the original GameCube. I complained that it was a failed port of the version. Dripping.
U/Tetsuno Kokoro x1 He added, “The combat system runs at the same speed as the original GameCube version, and the characters have the same responsiveness. Any kind of difference in control or responsiveness is purely in the player’s mind.” has the same framerate stability [as] In other versions it’s pretty noticeable due to the drop. ”
To make matters worse, the patch fails to fix the main complaints, especially framerate issues, missing text, transparency issues, etc.
