To be honest, I haven’t done it yet, so I’m very happy Megan Farokmanesh, writing Wired, thought to ask this important question. Game critics and journalists are rarely interviewed by important Japanese developers. So when it comes to interviews, passing everything through a translator never helps, but interviews tend to be boring and predictable.
However, suddenly here, tears of the kingdom Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi and producer Eiji Aonuma were asked, “Out of the dozen titles in the long-running series, which version of Link do you think smells the most?”
Mr. Aonuma points out: Breath of the WildThe version of the character wears a barbarian-style outfit with a bony hat and fur. “It might smell a little bit,” he said, noting its “wildlife smell.”
Fujibayashi, who says he has given interviews “for decades” but has never been asked which hero most needed deodorant, voted for: twilight princess. While Link spends much of his time digging and running through dungeons as a wolf, Fujibayashi thinks about one particular moment. “There are some scenes, twilight princess There, Link wrestles with the Goron tribe,” he says. “I think he smells pretty bad in that situation.”
Good answer! Right now I’m just trying to figure out which links smell. number oneAnd keep returning to the freshness of the early game Wind Waker: A lovely blend of sun, sea, sand and coconut. That’s exactly what the whole game smells like in my mind.
Please don’t think I’m posting this just for stinky discourse. Because the interview also includes an excellent and surprisingly hilarious answer to the question, “What are the best and worst things you’ve ever created?” It’s from Ultra Hand and Fuse? Also check this out Wired.
