Reports at the time indicated that the creators of this commercial were inspired, among other things, by Amazon reviews left for the game’s predecessor. Breath of the Wild. Written by a Japanese user, it tells the story of a “working adult” who spends his days “vaguely wondering why he’s still alive.”
I am a member of society, a so-called businessman. Busy with commuting rush hour, bowing to customers and superiors, busy with various tasks such as educating juniors, every day is nothing but overtime. I get irritated by mountains I don’t even know the name of on my way to work. When I get home, I feel dizzy and don’t have the energy to eat, so I just drink and go to bed. If I have time to play games, I have to go to seminars and find a match, and I get more hasty than necessary. I spend my days plainly wondering why I am still alive.
It’s gone, so when I went to buy some alcohol, the shop was selling Switch. Then I remembered that day. When I was a kid and was obsessed with Mario 64, a friend said, It’s time for the PlayStation! ’ and felt embarrassed. At the time, I didn’t want my friends to hate me, so I remember saying, “Yeah, that’s right.” Mario is obsolete! ”
The beauty of FF7 at the time, the impact of being able to listen to CDs on TV… Children these days may not understand these feelings. It must have been so fascinating and innovative for children at the time.
I still don’t know why I picked up a Switch at the time. I bought a game machine and Zelda, thinking that if I was bored with beer in hand I could sell it.
Yesterday at work, I looked out of the car window at a mountain I didn’t even know the name of, and thought, “I think I can climb it.” At that moment, I couldn’t stop crying. Businessmen of the same age who were next to me must have thought, “What the hell is this guy?”
I recommend this book to any business person who is pressed for time and struggles daily to maintain the status quo, even if everyone hates you. Don’t tell me it’s just a game. We were born in the golden age of video games. Have you ever seen your family members move their entire bodies when Mario jumps? Remember when you brought your own controller and played Mario Kart or Smash Bros. with your friends? Have you ever discussed Chrono Trigger or FF7 strategies with your friends? now i know When I was a kid, my parents would buy me expensive game consoles and software for birthdays and Christmas. My parents, who were always nagging at me, used their living expenses to buy me expensive games.
There are so many things I didn’t notice because I was so busy living my own life, and I’m impressed that I was able to notice them belatedly. I should have been more filial.
All the 5 star reviews are good so now I have nothing to talk about. This Zelda gives me the “challenge and reward” I forgot. It is a very exciting adventure experience because you can freely explore the world without a map. People my age are sick every day to get through tomorrow. But don’t despair of your life. The adventure I was hoping for was in a place like this.
PS I would like to thank the Zelda team and apologize to the Mario 64 development team and Nintendo. Although I loved Mario 64, I would like to apologize for lying that “Mario 64 is old” that day. I am really looking forward to the release of Mario Odyssey this winter.
Postscript on May 7: After playing for 180 hours, I achieved all “recovery of memory” and saw the ending. Most of all, I want to thank all the people who read my terribly long, messy and embarrassing review written emotionally. Also, I would like to thank not only those who read it, but also those who evaluated it as “helpful.” I have never been appreciated by so many people in my work. I really enjoyed my 180 hours running around Hyrule. I would like to thank all the Zelda fans who continue to support Zelda, not just Nintendo. Thank you for the wonderful adventure.
As for the parallels between this guy’s story and the commercial, the part where he apologizes for abandoning Mario in the face of the PlayStation ad campaign, I did as well. sonic 3 When my friend was playing Wipeout, it was a hit difficult.
