Callisto Protocol developers Striking Distance Studios seem to be teasing what’s going on this week by sending a short video message to players who got in touch via SMS from a recent promotion.
The Callisto Protocol’s official Twitter account recently tweeted a promotional poster urging players to contact the team, saying, “Now is the time to join UJC. Call or text now!” did. Players who passed through it apparently received a link to a short video that appeared to tease what was happening on Thursday, September 29th.

The response from the United Jupiter Center read, “Thank you for your interest in the United Jupiter Company. Our mission is to explore and colonize the Jupiter system. Possibility of placement within UJC Please contact our Recruitment Department about this. Please follow the link provided.”
If the user follows the link, they sign up for the well-established Striking Distance Studios mailing list. The video begins with what appears to be a hacked system, stating a “security breach” before introducing what appears to be a secondary faction.
Let’s be honest, the United Jupiter Center is a company in the space business. So you know this ARCAS guys will probably be a bunch of unreliable guys from Offset trying to take them down. After a recent chat with Striking Distance, I doubt the game will be an announcement about joining Xbox Game Pass in the near future. , which could offer the team the perfect opportunity to tell both sides of The Callisto Protocol’s faction story via DLC.
