Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play Division game, The Division Heartland, is being evaluated for an American release, suggesting the game may launch relatively soon.
The ESRB database contains listings for Heartland on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The Rating Group assigned an M rating to the title. This is the same rating as The Division and The Division 2. Evaluation description It doesn’t give much, but it does mention how players will take on the role of an elite government agency trying to restore order.
“Players use machine guns, rifles, and explosives to kill members of hostile forces. Combat can be frenzied marked by realistic gunfire, cries of pain, blood splatter effects, and explosions.” There is,” said the rating description. “Cutscenes depict further instances of violence: non-combatant characters are executed at close range; silhouette scenes of Russian Roulette, culminating in headshots; first-person camera footage of gunfights; prisoners of war They are beaten with bats and hammers.There are occasional pools of blood.It is painted on the bottom of the corpse.The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in-game.
The ESRB page also mentions that Heartland has microtransactions, which makes sense given that the game uses a free-to-play business model.
Heartland doesn’t have a release date, but as mentioned earlier, the fact that the ESRB assigned the game a rating suggests its release could be around the corner.
In addition to Heartland, Ubisoft is working on a mobile game and feature film called The Division: Resurgence.
