Jeff Keery revealed what happened last week Game Awards 2022 Viewership numbers were the highest ever in the event’s eight-year history. This includes over 100 million viewers of his livestreams across multiple channels, with just under 10 million people trying to win a Steam deck to tune on Steam.
The Game Awards 2022 Hits New Audience Milestone
Who watched the Game Awards 2022? 103 million people, saw a 20% increase in viewership over those who attended the 2021 Awards Ceremony. Of those, 9.5 million joined Steam in hopes of getting a Steam deck, and at one point over 850,000 were on at the same time.
On Twitter, over 11.5 million viewers watch live streams on social media platforms. This led to a 28% increase in the number of people tweeting about the show compared to last year, and a 31% increase in his use of award-specific hashtags. More importantly, the show was the #1 trend worldwide and the awards were on the way, so we even covered the top 5 trends in the world.
