full two minutes The Last of Us HBO An official trailer finally dropped out of almost nowhere today. In order not to spoil anything, let’s just say I used a proper song in the middle of the trailer and edited it perfectly to the climax of the video.
Beyond that, the trailer for the upcoming TV series looks incredible, recreating many of the recognizable shots from the first game. We are also confirming the release date of the 15th of the month.

The trailer effectively explains why Joel (Pedro Pascal) escorts Ellie (Bella Ramsey) west across the perilous American landscape in the first place, especially for new viewers who don’t know much about video games. Summarizing. Ellie jokes about her and she says she’s not scared, but Joel is more reserved and afraid of clickers.
We already know quite a bit about the cast of the HBO series, with Nick Offerman (briefly featured in this trailer), Storm Reed as Riley, Kevon Woodard as Sam, and Lamar Johnson as Henry. Voice actors Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, who were part of the original game, also appear in very quickly edited shots in the trailer. The show also features new characters such as Mr. Adler and Perry. So it doesn’t seem to follow the video game exactly (it really shouldn’t).
