When is a tree not a tree? Even in mangroves! Wait, before I shut down the device reading this, please give me a second to explain that awful “joke”. As every developer at Mojang Studios can attest, we believe that wide-eyed eyes are focused eyes.
The Wilds update was released earlier this month and one of the new biomes was the Mangrove Swamp. These areas are full of towering mangrove trees, large mangrove roots, and sweet little saplings called propagules. Like many things in Minecraft, they also exist in the real world. And like many of them, one of the reasons we added them to the Overworld is to show everyone how cool they are!
