In Security Booth, you play the role of a security guard at the Nova Nexus Lab in 1996, letting cars in and out based on whether or not the license plate matches the employee roster. But like the Graveyard Shift in Nova Nexus, not everything is like that. strange.
This free game will be a great demo of the full $5 version released on August 19th. The Director’s Cut includes more choices and consequences, fleshing out the story of conspiracy, breaking you out of the titular security booth and exploring it in a good old fashioned first-person perspective. The spooky headquarters of your nefarious employer.
The free version already has a great vibe and some good scares. I love the concept of being a helpless bystander that feels like a particularly good episode of The X-Files Monsters this week. — Dread Delusion, fellow Haunted PS1 alum at Security Booth (opens in new tab) has become one of my most anticipated games.
