Haunty An upcoming twin-stick adventure game from Moonloop Games. In this game, you play adorable little ghosts who can haunt objects and use them to traverse the game’s version of eternity. Eternity features beautiful bespoke graphics (almost all of which his team of four used Procreate to draw on an iPad) and is the perfect atmosphere for a folksy, quirky, cozy ghost game is.
HauntyThe main character is, of course, a cute little ghost with glowing green eyes. You can use twin-stick combat to shoot “essence” at objects that earn you in-game currency, destroy objects, or remove ghosts that can be used to move around the game space. At one point I jumped into a series of statues that I had to move to unlock a teleport. At another point I jumped into a tree and shook off the money. My bright green eyes peered out from the giant plant.
Haunty It also had a beautiful score paired with breathtaking illustrations that left me wanting more, even though I only had 10 minutes to play it. It is set to release for PC and consoles in 2024.
