A pair of beloved PlayStation 3 games are getting a modern update. During Sony’s State of Play, Ubisoft announced the remake and remaster of two classics.
Rayman Legends Retold and Rayman Origins presents two classic titles in grand fashion
During Sony’s State of Play, Ubisoft announced Rayman Legends Retold, a reimagining of the classic platformer. The new game builds on the original 2013 game, and includes enhanced 3D visuals, a brand new-story, and fully voiced cinematics. The new adventure in the game follows Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy on a new adventure to try and restore peace to the Glade of Dreams, which has been threatened under a new, shadowy villain.
Rayman Legends Retold is playable solo or with up to four players in couch co-up. However, that’s not all. Alongside the news, Ubisoft also confirmed that Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition was coming out. The enhanced edition of the 2011 platformer will be included in all three versions of the game, and includes 4K resolution support, 60 FPS, new collectibles and rewards, and other modern enhancements, including haptic feedback for controllers and other quality-of-life features.
Rayman Legends Retold will retail for $39.99 for the game’s standard edition. Pre-orders for any version of the game will include the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, including two costumes for Rayman and Globlox, inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
