If you’ve seen a significant role, you might have guessed it.
Ganondorf’s voice may have sounded familiar.
In a social media post this evening, Matthew Mercer announced that he will be playing Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom. Speculation has been rife since Ganondorf’s voice was heard in the February Direct, but Nintendo has lifted that part of the non-disclosure agreement after today’s final trailer.
I got the approval from Nintendo, so I’m really happy to be voicing Ganondorf in The Legend of Ganondorf. #zelda : #Tearsoft the Kingdom.

Mercer is a veteran voice actor, and his previous video game roles include the regular voice of Chrom in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Yusuke Kitagawa in the Persona 5 games, and three different roles in Fire Emblem (Ryoma, Shigure , Azama): Fate. You can see the full resume here.
