The monster being hunted is kept secret from the assembled hunters, but it’s not Russell.To everyone out there, he’s a man without a name, someone with an impressive monster-killing resume and a virtually blank backstory. Ideally, he keeps his abilities hidden.) And he’s not the only one to bring luggage to the evening’s proceedings: Elsa Bloodstone (Laura Donnelly’s Nevers), Ulysses’ estranged daughter came for what she sees as her birthright, despite seeming little interest in the family business.

Unfolding in a zippy 53 minute runtime, werewolf of the night Set in an unexplored corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it offers stylish throwback thrills that are kitschy rather than scary. It also helps a lot that it’s been presented differently than most other MCU ventures so far.its closest sibling Wanda Visionbut without the wider stakes the show ultimately took on in addition to its homage.
