As the end of the year approaches, it’s time to tally the votes and see which games were the best in 2022. There’s no shortage of exciting games you’ve experienced this year. There were great entries in critically acclaimed franchises, and many great indie titles that flourished.
Earlier this year, we got one of the most anticipated games of the year with Elden Ring. Its stunning design, art, and new familiarity garnered praise from veterans of previous Souls-like games, as well as newcomers who had previously eschewed the genre. franchise Horizon Forbidden West and the sequel to God of War: Ragnarok. It was a great feast for PlayStation fans to start and end the year. Indies abound, too, and Tunic and Stray captivated a wide audience with their charm, intelligent design, and ability to be cute, furry animals to handle business.
