Wild Hearts is a unique twist on the hunting genre where technology gives you the chance to battle giant beasts imbued with the destructive power of nature. These beasts, known as beasts, fused with the elements of nature over time, changing their environment to suit their needs, greatly affecting the despair of the people of the East. and despair is unknown, but they must be stopped, and only a hunter with great skill and cunning can seize the chance.
You’re not limited to wits and weapons when fighting these giant beasts. It also possesses the power of karakuri, an ancient technique that must be mastered and used to turn the tide of battle against these enemies. Use karakuri to discover weaknesses or gain new attack angles. Some even help you set up defenses against the worst of kemonomimi attacks, giving you a chance to defeat them.
Each beast has both strengths and weaknesses, and it’s important for the wise hunter to take note before the hunt begins. One with glowing wings, a deafening roar, and an uncontrollable rage that rages in the heat of the forge.

The majestic Amaterasu Omikami has captured the imagination of the people of Azuma for centuries. This winged beast with fiery wings is both enchanting and terrifying. It draws strength from the life energy of its surroundings, combined with its apparently infinite rage. If you want to avoid such attacks, carefully observe the color of the wings of this huge beast. The more red you see, the closer you are to the most dangerous aspect.
When facing Amaterasu, you should be aware that not only its sharp beak and claws, but even its feathers can end a hunt prematurely. You need to focus on getting it down to the ground by fixing it in place. Search for this challenging prey in the direction of the setting sun among the western grasslands and wild, ruined temples. It’s most striking at dusk when the foliage and pampas grass swirl around the dilapidated temple.
Once hunted, beasts also provide materials needed to craft more powerful armor and other items. The more you hunt, the more material you gather and the bigger the next prey you face.
