You may disagree that the three I put in the headline are the most important. Check the rest of the article for the full list.
EA Sports and Metalhead Software have revealed a slew of new real-life professional baseball legends playable in Super Mega Baseball 4, coming to Switch on June 2nd.
Legends can be played in Classic Leagues alongside other fictional characters, as well as in certain Legend Leagues, which consist of two conferences: New School and Old School. Of course, each Legend his conference has its own unique team name, such as News School’s Mammotank and Empire, Old School’s Originator and Joyrider.
Beyond that, you can use legends almost freely. Whether you play Legends directly in your franchise or customize your players across different teams. For example, in Franchise mode, the original Super Mega Baseball can start a league with his team and have the Legend appear as a free agent each season.
The online mode Pennant Race also incorporates Legends into the game in interesting ways. Each season in online mode features his four Legends replacing his four players on the original Super Mega Baseball his team. Who the Legends are and which team they end up on depends on a number of factors, including team usage in the mode and which team loses more often.
