The requirements sound pretty straightforward, but the quest itself is vague about where to find magma cores. Here’s how to complete the Forge quest Fuel in WoW: Dragonflight.
Forge’s Amazing Dragonflight Fuel: Magma Core Location
Fuel for the Forge is one of Dragonflight’s new profession quests.Available to learned players Blacksmith Gain some valuable skill points and a bit of reputation to help increase your prestige level.
Quest giver Durel asks you to collect 10 magma core Found in lava creatures around the Dragon Islands, but no specific location marked on the map.Your best bet is to head to the southeast area of Obsidian Citadel at Waking Shore. The easiest creatures to kill for cores are Lava Slugs, which can be found in three groups. I’ve marked the location on the map above.
Of course, there are plenty of other creatures here, but slugs seem to drop magma cores consistently.Once you’ve collected the required 10, head back to Valdrakken for a quest to increase your smithing skill level. I’ll submit it.
